A day of golf and fellowship in memory of 'Coach'
Thank you to all the golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and guests for their overwhelming support and generosity this year in memory of our beloved 'Coach' Mare Von Lindern!
It was a wonderful day of fellowship raising more than $18,000 to carry on Coach's legacy and support the school she loved so much.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Coach's Legacy of Generosity
In 2023, our PE teacher, Mare Von Lindern (affectionately known as 'Coach') passed away. The Committee to Remember Coach met after the very successful inaugural Golf Outing to decide how to use the proceeds.
The proceeds will be divided the following way from this year’s outing and for future outings:
- 30% CYO Scholarships for kids in need to cover registration fee
- 15% will go to CYO to use for their various projects
- 10% will be used for PE equipment
- 20% for Toys for Appalachia
- 25% will carry over to the next year
Proceeds from this event have been used to fund:
- New custom-designed CYO scorers table dedicated in memory of 'Coach'
- CYO scholarships for St. Mary School students with financial needs
- Christmas toys for children in Appalachia
- Pickleball equipment for P.E. classes
