April is filled with so many activities, but one St. Mary Tradition ties our Faith and Family together. During Lent the Stations of the Cross help us realize how much we can learn from Jesus’ last day on Earth. St. Mary School was proud to present four different Stations of the Cross prayer services this year. Mrs. Merkle’s Class, led us through the stations with their hand drawn representation of Jesus' journey for both the school and Parish. Mrs. Cooper and Mrs. Tracy’s classes led the school and parish in a Living Stations, where students take on the roles of Jesus and those who were with Him. When we celebrated Grandparents’ Day this year, grandparents and their grandchildren led us in praying the Stations of the Cross, while each homeroom designed a slide to represent one of the stations. Finally, the Junior High students began our Retreat Day with a prayer service focusing on the Stations of the Cross.
