Some of you may not know that I have a very special job every morning of the school week. My job is to move the arrival line, open car doors, and greet our children as they come into the building. It is a great job! Let me tell you why.
Every morning I can tell what kind of day each of our students will be having. I am happy to report that for the most part, our students begin their day on a very positive note. I attribute this positive attitude of our students to their parents. Every morning I hear wonderful things being said to our children. I see beautiful gestures and encouraging smiles.
I hear things such as: Have a good day! Do your best and be kind! I love you! I love you to the moon and back! Make it a great day! Enjoy THIS day! Love you more! Be a good leader! Be kind to other! You can do it! Shine your light! Jesus loves you and so do I! And the list goes on.
How can our students not have a positive attitude and do their best? Their parents are behind them 100%! As first teachers, you are giving your child not only a good start to each day, but a good start in life, and an awesome example as what it means to be a good parent. Thank you!
I am so blessed to be a part of this school community. It is a pleasure to come to school each day. The teachers, the students, and the parents are so caring and supportive! Each of you helps create this wonderful school – St. Mary! Thank you for all you do and please continue to do so. As one of our all school Mass songs says- “You can make a difference!”
Happy Thanks giving everyone!
