Congratulations to all of our second graders receiving Jesus for the first time this weekend! May you walk in His light and love all your life! May you remain as close to Him throughout your life as you are today!
Our second graders will host our all school Mass on Friday at 9:20. They will wear their First Communion attire and celebrate after Mass with a special reception. Please come and join us for this special Mass!
We would like to invite all of our families and friends to the St. Mary School Band Concert, on Monday, May 9th at 2 and 7 pm in the school cafeteria. Please come and support our band students and see how much they have learned and polished their skills since last September. Mr. Littman, our band director, has done a wonderful job preparing the students for this performance. You are cordially invited to attend!
Our sixth graders will be attending Cuyahoga Valley Education Camp for four days this week. This educational experience combines a number of the sciences with hands- on and in- nature experiences. The program enhances the curriculum that the sixth graders study throughout the year. We pray that they are safe and have a wonderful experience. Thank you to Mrs. Fedak for planning this trip as well as to the teacher chaperones – Mrs. Solomon and Miss Romano.
Our seventh and eighth graders will be traveling to Greenfield Village, Michigan for their class trip on Friday. We wish them a safe and enjoyable trip along with their teachers Mrs. Joyce, Mrs. Yeager, and Father Kawalec.
Our Kindergarten class will be saying good bye to the Letter People on Thursday of this week. They will be going back to letter People Land.
When one of our families is in need, our school community rallies to help. One of our preschoolers recently lost her father to an untimely death. During our Charity Dress Down Day last week, a number of classes designated their donations for the Marcotte Family. As a school community we would like to augment that donation.
On May 10th, we will host a Pink and Purple Dress Down for $1 Day. Pink and purple are Morgan Marcotte’s favorite colors. Wearing her colors on this day will be a special tribute to her and the family from our students. We encourage you to wear pink or purple on this day to support the family!
